What do I need for my appointment?
Your existing fob and access to your building’s door readers. We meet you at the building and need both the fob and the relevant readers for cloning to work.
Will it open my building, elevator, and apartment?
It depends on your building’s system. Some copies support building access and elevators; others also support your apartment entrance. We test your clone with you and explain exactly which access points it supports.
Can I choose a card or a fob?
We work with many apartment fob systems. Some can only be copied to a white credit-card-style access card. Others support both a card and a puck-style fob. Your system determines the available formats.
How much does it cost?
One clone is $100. Buy two or more at the same appointment and each is $75, so two cost $150. Neighbors can combine purchases during one appointment.
How does the free first copy work?
The first-ever Gravikey customer at a building gets one successful clone free. Additional copies for that customer are $75 each. We use the building address to confirm eligibility.
How long does it take?
Cloning typically takes about 15 minutes. Appointments are offered every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
What if my copy doesn’t work?
We test it with you before we finish. Your clone also comes with a 30-day guarantee: if it doesn’t work during the 30 days after your appointment, we’ll refund your payment in full.
